Politics

Sunny Beach

Location

Sunny Beach is the biggest Bulgarian Black Sea resort and has the status of major international resort. It is visited by hundreds of thousands of foreign and Bulgarian tourists each year. It is located a in pituresque bay bordered by cape Emine to the north and by the UNESCO-protected Nessebar to the south. The Bourgas International Airport, which is only 25km from Sunny Beach, provides easy access from all major cities in Europe.

The “Sunny Holiday” complex consists of two separate buildings, which carve around a large pool for adults and children. Surrounding the buildings is a spacious parking area for the owners and their guests. Each building has 54 apartments with a mix of studios, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. Each apartment is designed so that its living room and terrace overlook the pool area whereas the bedrooms face the quieter opposite direction. The complex features a restaurant/bistro, a Mini-market, and a hairdresser on its premises. It also has year round, 24-hour security and a full time housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Climate and Temperatures

The climate in Sunny Beach is mild, with warm to hot summer months cooled by a pleasant sea breeze, mild winter with few snowfall days, beautiful spring that begins around March 15, and warm and sunny autumn that continues until December. During the summer months, the sun is up for 10-11 hours each day.
The beach of the Sunny Beach resort is spacious, about 10 km long, and covered with fine golden sand. Along most of the beach, sand dunes separate the beach from the hotels. The sea bottom slopes down gradually and has a soft sand cover, which makes it ideal for spending time in the water and for swimming.
